When the decision is made
Tropical weather can change quickly. We review the forecast and the conditions at the location two to three hours before the scheduled proposal because that is also the time needed to build the setup. Sertuin explains the operational risks, but the client makes the final decision to continue or reschedule.
Rescheduling and covered alternatives
Changing the date because of rain, strong wind, unsafe waves or another relevant weather condition has no extra cost. The same deposit can be used for a maximum of two reschedules, subject to availability. If the decoration can be installed in a gazebo or another suitable covered location, the proposal can move there without an added charge when the move is required for weather.
If rain begins after setup
At our private beach there are umbrellas and covered areas where the couple can wait briefly. If the proposal can happen safely but the complete photo session cannot, we finish the essential moment, dismantle as needed and arrange a full photo session the next day at no additional cost.
If the couple leaves the next day
We make every reasonable effort to complete the proposal before departure. If weather makes it impossible during the entire stay and the client cooperated with the available alternatives, the deposit is refunded. This weather impossibility is the exception to the normal deposit policy; a cancellation based only on preference is different.

Share every available day of your trip, not only one date. The more flexibility we have, the easier it is to protect the surprise, the light and the quality of the experience.
